The Summer Games have begun—well, at least in Overwatch, as Blizzard’s shooter began its three week event for the Rio 2016 Olympics with a new Lúcioball mode, and over 100 cosmetic items.
For the next three weeks, players will earn special seasonal Loot Boxes that will give you a chance for new cosmetic Rio Olympics 2016-themed items, including new skins, sprays, emotes, victory poses, highlight intros, and icons. While these loot boxes can’t be purchased with credits, they’re guaranteed to at least have one item for the event.
The above is a look at some of the special skins for the event. Any of the Summer Games items you unlock will be yours to keep forever, but they’ll only be available until August 22, 2016.
In addition to all the new items, the event also adds a new brawl called Lúcioball. It’s actually kind of like Rocket League, except instead of cars you play as Lúcios in a 3v3 match. The games last for four minutes and the team with most goals takes home the win.
Overwatch is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
