Overcooked 2 Free DLC Celebrates Summer With Sun’s Out Buns Out

Overcooked 2 is a game that has grown tremendously since its August 2018 launch, with constant updates bringing free and paid chefs, maps, and recipes to the game and features like new game+. Now people are getting something to celebrate the summer season. The latest Overcooked 2 free DLC is Sun’s Out Buns Out, and it’ll show up on PCs on July 5, 2020 and consoles later this month.

Some of the new free levels involve activities you normally see in the summer. Like there’s a kitchen that is a part of a parade, with players making up dishes while riding on a float. The pool kitchen, with a floating kitchen surviving people attending a BBQ around a pool, showed up too. There are also various fireworks at different stages. The new recipes involve things like hot dogs and shakes.

The Overcooked 2 free DLC also means more chefs. Sun’s Out Buns Out will add two new dogs to the kitchen. One looks like a Siberian Husky, while the other looks like a terrier of some sort. (They’re properly dressed, so we can probably trust them in the kitchen.)

Here’s a trailer looking at everything this Overcooked 2 add-on has to offer.

Overcooked 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Sun’s Out Buns Out will come to PCs on July 5, 2020, with a console release following later in July 2020.
