Outriders cross-play will work across platforms and generations. Square Enix and People Can Fly noted that all PlayStation, Xbox, and PC versions, including Stadia, are going to be compatible. However, since the Stadia version won’t be among those available on February 2, 2021, people will have to wait to play with folks who grab it there.

There is also an Outriders free upgrade option for people who get the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version of the game. Those who do, then move on to a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, will have options. In the case of the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions, Smart Delivery will kick in. With the PlayStation 4 version, you can get a PlayStation 5 one. However, if you go with a physical copy, you do need a PlayStation 5 capable of reading discs to get your free upgrade.

Here’s the latest Outriders trailer, which celebrates the release date and cross-play announcement.

Outriders will come to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and  PC on February 2, 2021. The Stadia version will launch in 2021.
