Orgarhythm Is A Music Game From A Former Shenmue Programmer

Acquire, makers of Sumioni: Demon Arts and Class of Heroes, is working with Shenmue lead programmer Tai Hirai. After working at Sega, Hirai formed Neilo in 2010. Orgarhythm will be Neilo’s first game.

Famitsu explains Orgarhythm will blend music and strategy genres to create a new kind of game. Songs will be from based on ancient music from around the world, which opens the track list up for many genres. Orgarhythm has cooperative and competitive play modes.

 

The magazine also revealed a first print bonus. Reserve the game and you’ll get a code you can redeem for a downloadable bonus track. Sounds like Orgarhythm will have DLC song too. Acquire will release Orgarhythm for PSP this summer.
