Ookami Mio, a hololive VTuber with Cover, has announced that she will return to streaming on June 30, 2024. Her return stream will take place from 6:00 PM JST, which would be 2:00 AM PDT/5:00 AM EDT.
It’s unknown how long she’ll stream for. But it will likely be a zatsudan stream. In her announcement Tweet she stated that she kept everyone waiting and that she made her viewers feel lonely. While she didn’t mention that she would explain her illness in the Tweet, she put it in smaller text in her image.
On May 12, 2024, Cover revealed that Ookami Mio was in the hospital for long-term care. She had to make an emergency visit on April 28, 2024, though neither Ookami Mio nor Cover gave much information on it. As a result of this stay, she had to miss the Hololive Gamers Fes and Music Verse Fes events. She left the hospital this month, on June 10, 2024. However, she was still unable to return to her normal streaming schedule. This is likely due to having less energy and endurance after her lengthy hospital stay.
Ookami Mio will return to streaming on June 30, 2024. As of the time of writing, Mio has over 1.18 million subscribers.
