Neither Cover nor Mio stated what she was in the hospital for. Mio apologizes for worrying everyone, as well as causing inconvenience. She states that she’s grateful for the fact that she was able to return from the hospital healthy and alive, but that it’ll take some time before she’ll be able to live her life normally again. This is due to a loss of stamina from either the hospital stay or what the doctors had to do for her. More information about her future schedule will appear on her Twitter (X) account.

On May 12, 2024, Ookami Mio and Cover put out posts to announce that she has to be in the hospital for long-term care. She actually was in the hospital even earlier, as she had to go for an emergency visit on April 28, 2024. As a result of this stay, Mio wasn’t able to participate in Hololive Gamers Fes or Music Verse Fes. She gave an update on May 21, 2024 to state that she’s still in the hospital.

As of the time of writing, Mio has over 1.18 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Her last stream was a month ago.
