One Piece Thousand Storm Shutting Down on January 2024

Bandai Namco announced that the Japanese servers for the mobile game One Piece: Thousand Storm are shutting down on January 23, 2024 at 1pm JST. It stated the date established for end of service is subject to change without notice.

The developers of One Piece: Thousand Storm thanked players for their continued support since the game’s release in 2016. The distribution and sale of in-game currency Rainbow Coins was halted on November 21, 2023.

One Piece: Thousand Storm is a free-to-play multiplayer co-op RPG developed by DeNA and published by Bandai Namco, where up to three players could participate in turn-based battles with popular characters in the One Piece franchise. The game initially released in Japan on April 21, 2016, and later launched worldwide on January 25, 2017. Bandai Namco shut down the global servers of One Piece: Thousand Storm on December 13, 2018.

In other One Piece news, the Los Angeles Rams revealed that it will hold a One Piece Game Collaboration Day on December 3, 2023. The event will include One Piece decoration, and merchandise will be given to attendees.

One Piece: Thousand Storm is shutting down on January 23, 2024. Until then, the game will be available on Apple iOS and Android devices only in Japan.
