One Piece Luffy Gear 5 Seiko Watch Costs Over $300

Seiko announced the release of a new collaboration watch inspired by the Luffy Gear 5 transformation from the One Piece series. The watch costs 54,780 yen (or about $365) and is expected to be released in mid-February 2024. [Thanks, Dengeki Hobby!]

The new One Piece Seiko watch is now available for pre-order from the Premico online store. The Seiko collaboration watch will be limited to 5,000 units. A serial number will be included on the back. The watch is available in sizes S (16.5cm), M (17.5cm), and L (19.5cm).

The watch has Luffy D. Monkey’s name engraved around the dial, and the subdials include motifs from Luffy’s Gear 5 transformation, as well as the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit. Additionally, the Straw Hat Jolly Roger appears alongside the One Piece and Seiko logos. The box includes a Gum-Gum Fruit motif, and the interior features an illustration of Gear 5 Luffy.

Seiko has previously released plenty of collaboration watches. Some recent ones include a Chainsaw Man, Cinnamoroll, and Optimus Prime Transformers watch.

The One Piece Luffy Gear 5 Seiko watch costs 54,780 yen (~$365) and will be released in mid-February 2024 in Japan. Pre-orders are now open from the Premico online store.
