Back when Eiichiro Oda teased more One Piece live-action actors would be announced, he suggested Miss All Sunday and Nefertari Vivi would appear, and now Netflix revealed Charithra Chandran is Miss Wednesday.

For those familiar with One Piece, Vivi plays a major role for the Arabasta Saga in the series, though when we first meet her she’s going by the name Miss Wednesday. She’s affiliate with Baroque Works, which is already confirmed to play a major role in the latest episodes in the adaptation. The initial announcement doesn’t show Chandran with Vivi’s trademark blue hair, however.

Here is the One Piece live-action Nefertari Vivi, aka Miss Wednesday, reveal from social media:

Another trailer featured the actress introducing herself and expressing her thoughts about the role.

This is Charithra Chandran’s second role in a Netflix series. She played Edwina Sharma in Bridgerton. She also appeared in the Amazon Original Alex Rider as Sabina Pleasance.

We also know who will play the partner of Miss Wednesday in the One Piece live-action adaptation, which is Mr. 9. Daniel Lasker is in that role. He was revealed alongside the other Baroque Works agents Mr. 3, Mr. 5, and Miss Valentine.

The first season of the One Piece live-action adaptation is on Netflix now, with season 2 on the way. The anime is on both Netflix and Crunchyroll. Viz Media handles the manga outside of Japan.
