As the Netflix One Piece live-action adaptation doesn’t feature the full Straw Hat crew, only the Japanese voice actors for Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji will appear for the Japanese dub. Here’s the list of who will appear:

  • Luffy: Mayumi Tanaka
  • Nami: Akemi Okamura
  • Sanji: Hiroaki Hirata
  • Usopp: Kappei Yamaguchi
  • Zoro: Kazuya Nakai

And here’s the video of Godoy and Tanaka meeting. It also features the other four main members of the live-action adaptation’s cast talking about the show.

This is one of multiple announcements related to One Piece and the new adaptation from Anime Expo 2023. Bandai and Tamashii Nations also announced SH Figuarts based on this version of the story. At the moment, only ones based on Luffy and Zoro are on the way.

The One Piece live-action show will appear on Netflix on August 31, 2023. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll, with some movies on Netflix. The manga is localized by Viz Media.
