There are One Piece fighting games, Dynasty Warriors spinoffs, card battling games, and even a RPG. What’s missing from the list? A rhythm game and kart racer. Bandai Namco will take care of one of those with One Piece: Dance Battle.
This rhythm game is kind of like Simon Says. Buttons on the bottom of the screen light up in a certain order that players need to memorize. After seeing the patter tap on the buttons. While Luffy and Law are dancing, they are also fighting. When your special attack gauge is full you can hit an opponent with a poweful move.
One Piece: Dance Battle also has a Dance Hall where you earn points by battling other players. Points are used to purchase costumes for different characters.
One Piece: Dance Battle is slated for release this year on iOS and Android. Pre-registration is open today and early registrants can unlock Trafalgar Law as a playable character.
