To celebrate the upcoming Year of the Snake, the official One Piece Mugiwara Store will give out free postcards of Boa Hancock. In order to receive one, you’ll need to spend over 2000 JPY in a transaction.
This campaign will start from January 1, 2025, and will end when there is no much stock. All stores are participating in this, so it doesn’t matter which one you go to if you want one of these cards. For information on where you can find a Mugiwara Store in Japan, you can check out the official website. The online store will also give a postcard if you spend over 2000 JPY in a single transaction. As a note, this is per transaction. So if you want two cards, you’ll need to pay two separate times.
As for why the One Piece New Year postcards depict Boa Hancock for the Year of the Snake, it’s likely due to her close association with the animal. Her name is a species of snakes, for one, and in the story, she has the title of “Snake Princess.” This postcard looks like a New Year card, and you can use it as one if you want. Of course, you can also keep it for yourself as a collector’s item.
You can watch One Piece on streaming services like Crunchyroll, and read the manga via Viz. There’s also a live-action version of it on Netflix. The Boa Hancock postcards will be available in the Mugiwara Store from January 1, 2025.
