Bandai Namco’s stylish brawler JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven released in Japan today, but they still haven’t finished their character introduction videos.
Today we have Old Joseph Joestar from Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable, Kosaku Kawajiri from Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable, Hol Horse from Part III: Stardust Crusaders, Josuke Higashikata from Part VIII: JoJolion and Diego Brando from Another Universe from Part VII: Steel Ball Run.
Old Joseph is a “Ripple-user” and also a “Stand-user” who fights alongside his Hermit Purple Stand. Using his whip Stand, he’s able to attack with quite the reach, and he also packs an extra punch with his Ripple attacks.
He can provide buffs by increasing the attack of combos after combo breaks and dual combos. Old Joseph can also see traps that can’t normally be seen by other players. He can even reduce cooldown times.
Kosaku is a “Stand-user” who fights with the Killer Queen Stand, after Yoshikage Kira has assumed his identity. He can make enemies and objects into bombs, and also toss some air bombs; however, these bombs can also blow up allies, so you’ll want to be careful with how you use them.
By pressing the R1 button, he’s able to transform enemies into bombs, then use the same button to blow them up.The air bubble bombs can also target enemies in mid-air. The bubbles can increase in size for further damage. However, he won’t be able to use it for a while after taking too much damage.
Hol Horse is a “Stand-user” who fights with his gun-Stand called Emperor. Using J. Geil’s Stand Hanged Man, Hol Horse is able to shoot enemies from a distance through different means as a long-ranged shooter.
After shooting, Hol Horse is able to press down the R1 button to lock-on targets and have them go as homing shots. His play style mostly revolves around shooting from a distance and combining his attacks together with Hanged Man’s.
Josuke is a “Stand-user” fighter and tags up with his Stand called Soft & Wet. Josuke uses a variety of traps and items that appear from his bubbles, and can even seal abilities and rush them down.
One of his main abilities involves stealing vision from his opponents with bubbles. When one is hit with this attack, their vision gets lost and they’re no longer able to properly target their opponents.
Diego Brando from Another Universe has two battle styles of “Mount” and “Stand-user” with his Stand called The World. He comes in ground and mount modes, both with their own characteristics.
He’s able to freeze time while being the only one with the ability to move for a short period of time, but this ability takes a while to active and its cooldown is quite long. When he stops time, Diego is able to attack simultaneously with The World for extra damage. He’s also able to use projectiles and set wire traps, and ignite enemies with gas and matches.
