Individual bread packages with Monster Hunter brands will appear temporarily at select supermarkets and drugstores across the Kinki and Chugoku regions in western Honshu, as well as the Shikoku island. The collection will consist of a Zinogre Margherita, a Rathalos curry bun, and a Felyne steamed bun with cheese. People who purchase more than three items in the lineup can upload their receipts to enter sweepstakes that reward Monster Hunter-branded QUO prepaid cards.

Oisis will also produce more Monster Hunter-themed bread exclusively in its Mother Basket and Arome bakeries in Osaka and Hyogo prefectures. The lineup will feature a cheese pizza shaped after Zinogre’s thunder, a carry bun modeled after Rathalos’ fireball, and bread with Frankfurter sausage that resembles a Well-Done Steak. The company will also hand over a random coaster mat for free to the first 500 people who order the special food at each outlet.

This collaboration will mark multiple anniversaries for both companies. Oisis and Capcom will both conclude their respective 75th and 40th anniversary years in June 2024. Oisis also noted that the Monster Hunter series’ 20th anniversary falls in 2024. In fact, this will not be the only food collaboration the game franchise is having on its major anniversary. The sushi restaurant chain Sushiro will also offer a special menu inspired by Monster Hunter from late March 2024 to April 2024.

Oisis’ Monster Hunter bread products will be available in select stores in the western regions of Japan from April 1, 2024, to May 31, 2024.
