Pokemon ASMR Piplup

Official Pokemon ASMR Video of Piplup is Quite Loud

The official Pokemon YouTube channel released a 30 minute long video of Piplup ASMR. Though the English title is “Hanging Out with Piplup,” the Japanese one is “Goodnight, Piplup.” The scene depicts Piplup’s trainer in bed. Meanwhile, Piplup plays outside, sneaks into the room, yells at the trainer, and then finally goes to sleep.

It is an ASMR video that puts you in a certain situation rather than trying to inspire tingles. In fact, trying to watch this while sleeping or relaxing may be detrimental considering how loud the Piplup gets when it is angry or panicked. It even throws a ball so hard that it crashes into something off-screen. However, once the Piplup finally calms down and climbs into bed, the rest of the video returns to the more classic ASMR volume.

Piplup is not the first Pokemon to star in its own ASMR video. Last year, The Pokemon Company uploaded one featuring Pikachu, Charmander, and Squirtle. Interestingly, Squirtle and Charmander’s videos are very quiet and low-key, whereas Piplup and Pikachu need to get all their energy out first before the second half of the video quiets down.

The Pokemon Piplup ASMR video is available via the company’s YouTube account.
