Netflix and Eiichiro Oda released a statement teasing upcoming news about season 2 of the One Piece live-action adaptation, including possible hints at Miss All Sunday, Vivi, and Chopper actor reveals. The note said additional performers will be revealed on August 21-23, 2024.
Oda’s letter started by explaining the story from Loguetown to Drum Island will come up in the second season of the show. He also noted he’s still asking a lot from showrunner Matt Owens and Netflix. He also noted, “Just as with last season, [Netflix and Owens] have gone out of their way to promise that they won’t put the show out until I’m satisfied.” In the latter half of the letter, he brought up how the One Piece live-action versions of Miss All Sunday, Vivi, and Chopper all remain a mystery at the moment, but news is coming up quite soon.
Here is the English version of the letter, which Netflix released via its official site.
