Octopath Traveler Tabletop Rulebook Now Available to Pre-Order

Square Enix announced pre-orders for an Octopath Traveler tabletop rulebook and scenario are now open. Octopath Traveler TRPG & Replay will allow for players to create their own characters within the world of Octopath Traveler. Additionally, it will come with a scenario. That said, there will be enough material within the Octopath Traveler tabletop rulebook to allow for players to create their own campaigns. It will cost 2,000 yen, or $17, and will release on February 28, 2022. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Additionally, those who pre-order the item from the Square Enix e-STORE will receive a special postcard. However, the company has yet to reveal artwork for the postcard. This is the only pre-order bonus exclusive to the Square Enix e-STORE. The official storefront also makes note that the release date for the item may be subject to change. There is also no indication that the book will release to consumers outside of Japan.

In February 2021, Square Enix announced sales for Octopath Traveler had surpassed 2.5 million sales. To commemorate the occasion, it released a special piece of artwork. Then, in March 2021, Octopath Traveler was released Xbox One. The game was also made available to play through Xbox Game Pass.

Octopath Traveler is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, and Stadia.
