While Octopath Traveler did not manage to budge Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy from the top spot in terms of sales figures in the UK, the game did manage to do very well on its own, especially when compared to previous mid-budget Square Enix RPGs Bravely Default and Bravely Second. Octopath Traveler managed to nearly double the sales of Bravely Default in the UK, and more than doubled Bravely Second’s sales, both games that were headed by the same crew. Octopath Traveler is also the No. 1 performing single platform game of this week in the UK. These figures are based on GfK’s charts on physical releases, and do not include digital sales.
