Young Horses has announced that Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be available for PlayStation Vita on May 26th for $14.99. It’s a cross-buy title, so if you’ve already bought the game on PS4 then you won’t need to pay any extra for the PS Vita version.

It doesn’t support cross-save, unfortunately, but Young Horses have tried to make up for that with a couple of extras. First off, there are new achievements to earn that’ll test your tentacle stretching skills. Secondly, there’s a local co-op option if you want it, with two players controlling Octodad together, one on each side of the PS Vita.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a game in which you play an octopus who is trying to raise his human family without anyone realizing his big secret (including his own family). With his tentacles pushed into a suit to form limp arms and legs, you have to drag him around as he slips and stretches, struggling to even stand upright without a spine to hold him up.

It starts off with your performing normal household chores such as mowing the lawn and going shopping, but a plot thickens and eventually you’ll have to help Octodad face bigger threats as those who work to expose his secret get closer to doing so.
