Nuwa Voice Actress Comments on SMT V: Vengeance

Ahead of the release of SMT V: Vengeance, Atlus shared some words from Ayana Taketatsu, the Japanese voice actress for Nuwa. In the post shared on the official social media for the game, the actress talks about her experiences lending her voice to the mysterious character.

Ayana Taketatsu starts by saying that Nuwa is a captivating and beautiful character, and at the same time quite frightening. What she finds most appealing about Nuwa is her air of mystery, and how you can never truly know what she’s thinking. Taketatsu also added that her role as Nuwa in SMT V and SMT V: Vengeance is the most challenging character she has had the opportunity to play.

After the release of the game, many people were surprised to discover that Ayana Taketatsu played the role of Nuwa, and the voice actress expressed her happiness to increase the range of roles she performs. Taketatsu said that new scenes for Nuwa have been recorded for Vengeance, and she looks forward to players discovering them.

Aside from her role as Nuwa in SMT V, Ayana Taketatsu has also voiced Labrys in the Persona 4 Arena fighting game series, Nino Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets franchise, Azusa Nakano in K-On!, and Leafa in the Sword Art Online series.

In a similar fashion, the Japanese voice actress for Sahori Itsukishima, Lynn, recently shared some words about her character and her experiences recording for SMT V and the upcoming Vengeance expanded released.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will come out for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on June 14, 2024.
