Noel Isn’t Left Out Of Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC, He Has A Special Weapon Too

Reserve Final Fantasy XIII-2 at Lawson or HMV and you’ll get a life draining bow for Serah. Square Enix created downloadable weapons for her time traveling companion Noel too.

Buy Final Fantasy XIII-2 directly from Square Enix and you’ll receive a code to add the Calamity Blade to the game. This weapon recharges Noel’s ATB gauge faster, but the weapon’s special trait will not activate until the middle of the game. Square Enix is also giving people who purchase the game from their e-Shop a set of PC calendar wallpapers.

While Square Enix has been announcing pre-order incentives, the publisher has not explained if users will be able to acquire these weapons another way perhaps via paid downloadable content. No details about bonus weapons for North America or Europe yet, although we’ll probably get some of those! Final Fantasy XIII-2 comes out on December 15 in Japan.
