When Scarlet Nexus debuts, people won’t have a way to play for free via Xbox Game Pass. Bandai Namco confirmed that it won’t be available on the subscription service at launch. It told Video Games Chronicle that people won’t see it there when the game debuts. [Thanks, Video Games Chronicle!]
Here is the exact statement Bandai Namco provided. Note that it only mentioned that there isn’t any schedule in place right now. This means somewhere down the line, we could see it on the service.
We have no plans to bring Scarlet Nexus to Xbox Game Pass at this time and are excited for its launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 25.
Bandai Namco games have appeared on Xbox Game Pass before. For example, Code Vein is in the library right now. So is Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition for both consoles and PCs.
In the meantime, there is an option for people who want to try Scarlet Nexus without buying it. A demo is available. The trial first appeared on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X in May 2021. However, a week later it also turned up on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
Scarlet Nexus will debut on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on June 25, 2021.
