At this time, No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise, a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 port up developed by Feelplus, has not been announced for North America. Ignition is close to Marvelous these days so I asked Shane Bettenhausen, former journalist and New Business Development Director at Ignition, about it.
“We were looking at it and I believe that another publisher will publish it,” Bettenhausen replied. That’s promising!
Any chance for Sakura Note, a tear collecting fantasy penned by Final Fantasy VII scenario writer Kazushige Nojima?
“I did evaluate it. We considered it, but the DS market is really difficult, like it’s totally tapped. Had it been a little more Western we would have done it,” said Bettenhausen. “I can list of a lot of really cool DS games I would love to bring to market. Basically, all of the awesome RPGs that never came here, people looked at them, but it’s just the DS market, because of piracy, only really first-party licensed games continually sell through.”
