The latest visual novel title to be ported to the PlayStation Vita was announced as Nanairo Reincarnation, by Silky’s Plus, and it will release this September in Japan. [Thanks, Game Jouhou]

In Nanairo Reincarnation, you play as Makoto, a third-year student at the university. After his grandfather passed away, he inherited all of his property. That wasn’t all he inherited, though, as he also gained the ability to see spirits.

Once he moves into his new home, he’s greeted by a zashiki-warashi named Iyo and an oni named Kikyou. These two are only visible to Makoto, as he’s the only one who can see them using his new ability.

Getting help from Iyo and Kikyou, Makoto will carry on the duty of his family that has been passed down from generation to generation, which basically requires him to use his powers to find and relieve the wandering souls, so they can finally rest in peace.

The PlayStation Vita version of Nanairo Reincarnation will feature additional CG work and new episodes by the original writer, Kazuki Fumi, and will release in Japan on September 17, 2015 for 6,800 yen plus tax.
