NIS America’s Secret PSP Title Is Awesomely Bad

Defying all odds NIS America picked up Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida which will be renamed Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman: What did I do to deserve this? when it comes out in North America this July. A great name for a fantastic quirky game. In the game players make a dungeon and manage an ecosystem of monsters to kill invading heroes. Not sold on the idea of defending the comical God of Destruction? NIS America will put a demo on the PlayStation Store.

Judging from the first batch of screenshots NIS America’s localization has a mix of Japanese humor (one of the heroes is called Shota) and Western jokes. It appears NIS America picked up the first game instead of the sequel which came out in Japan this past September.

Wait, a second… how did NIS America get the rights to publish Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman? Few third party developers release games originally published by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan. I sense an interesting story here…
