Nintendo updated its website to include information on four Famicom games that came out in 1991. The games are NES Open Tournament Golf, Time Twist: Rekishi no Katasumi de…, Shin 4nin Uchi Mahjong: Yakuman Tengoku, and Yoshi.Â
Each Famicom game page on the Nintendo website incudes information and screenshots from the game. It explains the core concepts and history, instructions on how to play, little tidbits of trivia, and advice. Some of the pictures, such as the page for Yoshi, compare how the graphics from 1991 compare to later releases or designs from Nintendo.
Some of these games are still available to play if you have a Nintendo Switch Online account. For example, the service offers NES Open Tournament Golf and Yoshi. If you want to get an idea of these games before you actually play them, you can check out the site, as well as use it as a convenient source of data. The advice section for NES Open Tournament Golf includes all of the stats and numbers for the various shots you can pull off, as well as the data on all the different courses you can play on.
