Back in April 2020, there was a suggestion from Brazilian sites The Enemy and GameHall that an official Nintendo Switch Brazil debut could be coming due to the country’s National Telecommunications Agency approving it. Now, Nintendo itself has confirmed it. There aren’t any dates yet, but there was a reveal on Twitter saying a Brazilian release is in the works and showing images of the original Nintendo Switch.
Here’s Nintendo’s tweet confirming the Nintendo Switch launch in Brazil. There’s no date beyond “soon.” It also pointed to the Nintendo Brasil Instagram account and Facebook for future announcements.
Greetings to all the Brazilian Nintendo fans out there! We’re excited to announce that #NintendoSwitch will be coming soon to Brazil!

Nintendo support is limited in certain countries and regions, and Brazil has been one of them. For example, as the Nintendo Support site pointed out, Brazil is currently one of five countries with a limited Nintendo Switch eShop. (The other four in the Americas with limited eShops are Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.)
There’s no launch date yet for the Nintendo Switch Brazilian debut. However, the official launch is on the way.
