Last week, Nintendo released Kirby Triple Deluxe in Japan, and the game sold 214,208 copies in its first week on store shelves.

Sales tracker Media Create reports that the game sold through 92.02% of its shipment, meaning that the game was more or less sold out at retail. For comparison, the previous Kirby game, Kirby’s Return to Dreamland, sold 136,811 copies, with a sell-through of 49.88%.

It would appear that Triple Star Deluxe has performed better than the last few Kirby titles on all fronts. How it continues to sell in the weeks to come should be interesting to see.

Correction: A previous version of this report mentioned an incorrect sell-through figure for Triple Star Deluxe. We accidentally copied the wrong figure into our internal spreadsheet. Sorry about that!
