New details about E3 2021 dropped, and both Nintendo and Microsoft are part of the plans. The event this year, which will be entirely digital and free, will be held June 12-15, 2021. There will be events and presentations from different familiar publishers. The Entertainment Software Association also suggested that it expects E3 2022 to be held in person again.
The early announcement for the event involved confirmation of some of the companies that will appear. While Sony isn’t set for it, both Nintendo and Microsoft will show up at E3 2021. There are also the following third-party companies confirmed for this year’s event.
- Capcom
- Koch Media
- Konami
- Take-Two Interactive
- Ubisoft
- Warner Bros. Games
As for what we might see from some companies, there are a few titles that could come up. Capcom has Monster Hunter Stories 2 launching in July 2021, so it could have a presence. Warner Bros. has titles like Back 4 Blood, Gotham Knights, and the Suicide Squad game in the future. Nintendo could use it as a chance to show off titles like The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, No More Heroes 3, and the newest Pokemon remakes.
E3 2021 will be held online June 12-15, 2021.
