Nintendo 3DS Sees Four 2 Million Sellers In Five Months In Japan

The Nintendo 3DS has become the first platform ever in Japan to see four different games selling over 2 million copies within a span of five months, Nintendo said today.

 

The four games in question are :

  • Yo-kai Watch 2 (July 10th)
  • Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (September 13th)
  • Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (October 11th)
  • Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire (November 21st)

 

All four of those games have hit 2 million units sold in Japan as of December 7th, 2014.

 

Nintendo also listed how many games have sold over 2 million copies in Japan on their recent platforms overall. Here’s what that list looks like:

 

  • Nintendo 3DS (10)
  • Nintendo DS (14)
  • Wii (8)
  • Game Boy Advance (2)
