Ryu Hayabusa will drop on to PlayStation Vita with Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Team Ninja are bringing the game to Sony’s next handheld. I spoke to Team Ninja lead Yosuke Hayashi, who wore a giant 8-bit Ryu chain, about the Vita version at Tokyo Game Show. While he didn’t say much about Ninja Gaiden Sigma for Vita, he confirmed this version will utilize Vita specific features like the touch screen.
In an earlier interview with Siliconera, Hayashi said he planned on using Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword style controls for the Wii U version of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. Of course, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma are different games, but that gives us some idea about how Hayashi is thinking about using touch screen controls.
