The trailer, revealed during the second Yacht Club Presents game presentation, shows off Shadow facing against numerous mechanical monstrosities, and also shows off a few story cutscenes that also harken back to the Ninja Gaiden style. They also announced that the game releases in Fall 2020.

Check out the trailer below:

Cyber Shadow takes place in a world taken over by synthetic creatures. After receiving a plea for help, Shadow heads to the ruins of Mekacity, where the creatures began their conquest, in order to uncover the truth behind everything. Yacht Club announced last year that they are publishing the game on behalf of developer Aarne “MekaSkull” Hunziker (Mechanical Head Studios). The game is focused on precision platforming and flashy actions across stages, and will feature a “classic” mode made for veterans of platforming games, as well as an easier mode that adds in a few modern conveniences. The game’s soundtrack is composed by Enrique Martin, and is produced by Jake “virt” Kaufman.

Apart from the story trailer, Yacht Club Games also announced that the Shovel Knight amiibo will be supported in the Nintendo Switch version of the game. That said, they didn’t elaborate on what effect scanning the amiibo will have.

Cyber Shadow releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Fall 2020. It’ll be available for $14.99.
