The Nihon Keizai Shimbun posted a report on the Nintendo 3DS news, which has more information than Nintendo’s official press release.

According to the paper, the Nintendo 3DS comes with 3D joystick and has force feedback. A patent was filed for a force feedback stylus and discovered by game blog Broke My Controller. Nikkei’s report also says the Nintendo 3DS is expected to have better battery life and faster wireless speed. Maybe an acceleration sensor for tilt control too, which the Nikkei says Nintendo is under consideration.

But, the screen size is expected to be under four inches, which makes the Nintendo 3DS smaller than the Nintendo DS XL. So, that may be a reason to give the new iteration of the current Nintendo DS a look when it launches in North America this Sunday.
