It seems the hiatus for Nijisanji Vtuber Twisty Amanozako is over, as she announced she will return for her birthday. The countdown stream will happen on YouTube on January 9, 2025, followed by the official birthday stream on January 10, 2025. Anycolor announced there is also official merchandise for the occasion on the way.
Twisty Amanozako announced she would be on indefinite hiatus from Nijisanji starting on December 12, 2024. This immediately followed Anycolor starting a third-party investigation into sexual harassment and unauthorized leaks.
The birthday countdown stream is called “Let’s Peowlebrate.” That starts at 5pm PT/8pm ET on January 9, 2025. There are no hints about what it might involve.
The birthday stream is titled “Perfect Princess Day.” That kicks off at 10:30am PT/1:30pm ET on January 10, 2025. Like the other placeholder, there is no information about what to expect or if any other Nijisanji Vtubers will stop by during it.
Her genmate Ryoma Barrenwort confirmed on social media Denauth Weekly, which features the two of them and Klara Charmwood, returns on January 10, 2025 as well. This was a recurring weekly show that the three performers would come together for prior to her hiatus. It’s been on hold since the hiatus.
As for the Twisty Amanozako merchandise, there are four items that will be sold. These can be purchased individually through Anycolor or in a set. There will be an A5 acrylic panel, a B2 cloth poster set, a badge with snapshot card, and a birthday voice and perk wallpaper. Orders for it open on January 9, 2025, and they’ll only be available until January 15, 2025. The art for the items was drawn by Oshipu.
