Nijisanji Vtuber Moira announced that she will be going on a hiatus for approximately one year. The popular Vtuber made the announcement through her personal X (formerly Twitter) account.
The original post is only available in Japanese, and in it she informed fans of the decision. Moira didn’t give any more information about the reasons for this extended break. In addition, the Vtuber shared that her fan club and membership systems will temporarily close down for as long as her hiatus lasts. The closure of the fan club memberships starts at the end of March 2024.
More information about Moira’s fan club and its temporary closure can be found on the official website, but the page is only available in Japanese. To inquire about membership refunds, people can contact Nijisanji through its official channels.
Moira debuted with Nijisanji as part of the company’s first generation of Vtubers back on February 2018. In other Nijisanji news, Ryushen from Nijisanji SEED recently announced another hiatus. However, theirs will be shorter than Moira’s, as Ryushen will come back to streaming sometime in April 2024.
Nijisanji Vtuber Moira will go on hiatus from streaming for approximately one year and will return to streaming later in 2025.
