Nier to Appear in Rainbow Six Siege with Maverick Replicant Bundle

NieR and the Grimoire Weiss are ready for a new adventure, as they will be appearing in Rainbow Six Siege as part of the Maverick Replicant bundle. According to the Rainbow Six Siege Twitter account, more NieR collaboration content will appear in the future. It will reveal details in regards to that during its Year 7 Season 4 reveal panel.

As this is the protagonist of Replicant and not Gestalt, this is Brother Nier and not Father Nier. Having said that, since the model is Maverick (with a wig and an outfit making him look like Nier), one could pretend that he is the father version of the character. The trailer video ends with the tagline “A YoRHa solder is approaching… Glory to mankind!. This implies that either 2B or 9S may also appear as a collaboration skin.

In addition to dressing up Maverick as Nier, you will also be able to unlock a new MVP pose, as well as a weapon skin. In total, the bundle will have six items in it.

Rainbow Six Siege crossed over with several other intellectual properties in the past. In May 2022, Kiryu Kazuma appeared as a skin for Echo in the Yakuza collaboration. It also had a collaboration with Arknights, with Rainbow Six Siege characters appearing as playable units there.

Rainbow Six Siege is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. It is also on Google Stadia, though the service will shut down on January 18, 2023. The Maverick Replicant bundle will be available for purchase from November 21, 2022.
