Square Enix announced the NieR: Theatrical Orchestra 12020 set to take place in Tokyo and Osaka in 2020. The concert celebrates the NieR series’ 10th anniversary next year.

Unlike the previous NieR concerts, this one focuses more on the series’ 10th anniversary. It features a fully-orchestrated performance with carefully selected tracks. Guest voice actors also appear as part of a read-aloud, and more.
The Tokyo performance takes place on March 28-29, 2020. Day 1 has one showing which opens at 5:00 pm and Day 2 has two with openings at 11:00 am and 4:00pm JST. It features composer Keiichi Okabe and the following guest voice actors:
- Koji Yusa and Ai Nonaka (from NieR RepliCant)
- Yui Ishikawa, Natsu Hanae, and Kaoru Akiyama (from NieR: Automata)
- Hiroki Yasumoto (from NieR RepliCant and NieR: Automata)
Next, the Osaka performance only has one day but with two showings with openings at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm JST. It features composer Keiichi Okabe and the following guest voice actors:
- Koji Yusa and Ai Nonaka (from NieR RepliCant)
- Yui Ishikawa and Natsu Hanae (from NieR: Automata)
- Mai Kadowaki and Hiroki Yasumoto (from NieR RepliCant and NieR: Automata)
Fans can now sign up for NieR: Theatrical Orchestra 12020 tickets via lottery. Unfortunately, that means not everyone can get tickets, but those who are selected can purchase them for 8,580 yen for the A-tier seats and 10,780 yen for S-tier seats.
Meanwhile, fans outside of Japan are currently looking forward to the NieR: Orchestra Concert 12018 with dates set in January and February 2020 in Chicago, London, and Bangkok.
