Additionally, Yoko Taro mentions that he asked Kimihiko Fujisaka, the character designer for all three Drakengard titles, for an illustration of the King of Façade. Taro says that he will talk about this at a later date.

However, despite releasing information on the upcoming weapons and weapon stories in NieR Replicant’s free DLC, a release date for said DLC was not disclosed. There was also a lack of information regarding how many free DLC weapons will be available. Additional details will more than likely be revealed in the future.

Recently, the official NieR Replicant Twitter account shared new footage of what players can expect from the retooled combat for the upcoming title. This included a look at a combat segment in the Barren Temple. However, the video does contain some light spoilers. Additionally, this footage provided a look at the new models for Kaine and Nier.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 23, 2021.
