We have a better look at NieR Replicant. Though this time, the focus isn’t on characters. Square Enix shared a peek at its world on Twitter. The official account shared NieR Replicant screenshots looking at four different locations.

This actually isn’t the first time we’ve gotten a better look at the updated version of the game’s world. Back in September 2020, we didn’t get new NieR Replicant screenshots, but we did get gameplay footage. The 2020 Tokyo Game Show footage showed Nier exploring the world. Also, while it isn’t a screenshot or showing how things have changed, we did get a peek at Kazuma Koda’s key art for NieR Replicant at TGS 2020 too.

NieR Replicant will appear on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 22, 2021 worldwide. In addition to a standard edition, a White Snow Collector’s Edition with pins, scripts, and a soundtrack is available. NieR Gestalt is available on the PlayStation 3 outside Japan and Xbox 360 worldwide, while the original NieR Replicant is available on the PlayStation 3 in Japan.
