In the lead up to NieR Replicant’s launch, Square Enix’s done quite a bit of hyping up. Some of that hype building involved a special broadcast, an Instagram filter, a limited time cafe, and game crossovers. Its latest involved a chance to see Juho Könkkölä NieR Replicant origami art of Emil and Nier. It took the artist 210 hours to make both of them.
The official Twitter account for the series offered a look at both characters. Each piece of NieR Replicant origami art was made from one sheet of paper. At the 30 second mark, you can see the Nier figure’s sheet unfolded. At the 40 second mark, you can see the most basic version of him before wetting and moulding.
We can’t get enough of these NieR-igami!
