NieR Reincarnation Surpasses 1 Million Users Adds Automata Event

NieR Reincarnation has surpassed over 1 million pre-registered users shortly ahead of its Japanese release. Additionally, a NieR: Automata event will immediately be available once NieR Reincarnation gone live. NieR Reincarnation will feature entirely new costumes for 2B, 9S, and A2 that players will be able to obtain through a special banner. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

Due to to pre-registrations reaching over 1 million users, players will receive in-game currency as a reward. A total of 4,500 gems will be distributed to players alongside various enhancement items.

Additionally, users will be able to participate in the NieR: Automata crossover event in NieR Reincarnation until March 31, 2021. Players will need to clear Chapter 2 of the main story in order to unlock the event. A special gacha will be available for users to roll on as well. This includes NieR: Automata inspired outfits for the “girl in white” and “the wandering boy.”

NieR Reincarnation will arrive on Android and iOS devices on February 18, 2021 to Japanese audiences. An English localization is currently underway, with a global released planned for sometime in the future.
