NieR Gestalt/Replicant 10th Anniversary Stream is Scheduled For April 22

A Nier Gestalt/Replicant 10th anniversary stream will happen on April 22, 2020. To celebrate the anniversary of Gestalt/Replicant Yosuke Saito and Yoko Taro will appear on the broadcast. They will be looking back at the chronology of the NieR series, and Taro will create an improvised weapon story on stream. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

On March 29, 2020 a ten hour broadcast was held. During this broadcast, two Nier titles were announced to be in development. One of these titles included Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139… (will be called Nier Replicant from here forward). This title was described as an upgrade to the original Replicant, which released exclusively to Japanese audiences. This updated version will be fully voiced and will include new tracks by composer Keiichi Okabe. The game is being developed by Toylogic and published by Square Enix. Takahisa Taura of PlatinumGames is also working on the game.

In addition to the announcement of this upgraded version of Nier Replicant, a mobile game was announced. Titled Nier Re[in]carnation, the development of this game will be handled by Applibot while character designs will be done by CyDesignation, a subsidiary of Cygames.

NieR Replicant is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.  NieR Gestalt and NieR Replicant first released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in April 2010.
