NieR: Automata Surpasses 500,000 In Shipments And Digital Sales On PS4 In Japan And Asia

We learned earlier this month that NieR: Automata surpassed one million in worldwide shipments and digital sales, and today the game is celebrates its 500,000 milestone for Japan and Asia.

 

Here’s the celebratory tweet from the game’s official Twitter account:

“With NieR: Automata’s releasing on April 27 for the Asia region, we announced during a pre-release event at SIE’s Taipei office that Japan & Asia’s total shipments and digital sales have surpassed 500,000. Thank you for all your support. #NieR #ニーア

 

Square Enix producer Yosuke Saito also added:

”It makes me truly happy to see it surpass 500,000 in Japan & Asia for PS4 alone… (´;ω;`) thank you very much.”

As for Yoko Taro, he’s happy to see the game being sold at game shops in Taipei:
