Square Enix revealed during NieR: Automata’s live stream some upcoming DLC including costumes and new battle content that will be added soon to the action RPG. [Thanks, DualShockers.]
First is a look at the set of three costumes from the original NieR that will be available in Japan on May 2 for the price of 1,500 yen for the set.
Additionally, the DLC includes a new area that unlocks near the rumored apologetic machines. Clearing this new arena content will get players all kinds of rewards, including new costumes and hair colors.
And finally, the above is a look at some gameplay featuring Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda and Platinum Games CEO Kenichi Sato who can be fought in the arena. President Matsuda’s model was provided by the Final Fantasy XV team, as you may recall from the Mystery Disc cameo. Beating the two will get you some sweet rewards.
NieR: Automata is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
