NieR Automata Dinner Show Will Take Place at End of 2024

An end-of-the-year event for NieR Automata will take place on December 29, 2024 in the Prince Park Tower in Tokyo. The event’s title is “Something Like a NieR Dinner Show 12024: Lovely Food and Music Plus Keiichi Okabe And His Jolly Friends.” [Thanks, PR Times!]

The key visual for it shows a giant version of Keiichi Okabe, his glasses reflecting the light for dramatic effect, standing over a ruined city on fire. He seems to be reaching out with a giant hand to continue his attack. Meanwhile, 2B, 9S, and A2 are staring up at him as if they’re about to take him down Attack on Titan-style. As for the dinner show, it’ll involve food, a talk event featuring the guests, and then a live performance.

Tickets are available via the Square Enix store. However, it’s by lottery rather than first-come first-served basis. You can apply for the NieR Automata dinner show event until October 14, 2024. If you were lucky enough to have gotten picked, then you will be receive communications on October 21, 2024. You’ll then have until October 27, 2024 to pay for the ticket. As a note, in order to apply for the lottery, you’ll need to register a free account with the Square Enix e-Store. There will be two shows, both on December 29, 2024. The first will be from 1:00 PM and the second will be from 6:00 PM, with prices differing for each.

Here are the prices for the first dinner show. The second price is for e-Store exclusive tickets, which will come with an Emil-shaped water bottle. It’s porcelain so you can also treat it like a vase or a display.

• VIP: 52,800 JPY / 58,300 JPY
• S: 41,800 JPY / 47,300 JPY
• A: 30,800 JPY / 36,300 JPY

Here are the prices for the second show.

• VIP: 57,200 JPY / 62,700 JPY
• S: 46,200 JPY / 51,700 JPY
• A: 35,200 JPY / 40,700 JPY

These prices include food and drink. The event also doesn’t allow people to bring toddlers or babies. Those who buy the VIP tickets will be able to attend a meet and greet with the guests (and you can take pictures with them), a VIP pass, and a signed poster of the key visual. Guests other than Keiichi Okabe (composer) are Emi Evans (singer), J’Nique Nicole (singer), Yoko Taro (director and writer), Yosuke Saito (producer), Takahisa Taura (designer), and more. Everyone will be able to take home the program leaflet, an Emil head rubber coaster, and a table napkin.

The NieR Automata dinner show will take place on December 29, 2024 in Japan. NieR Automata is readily available on the PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch.
