During WonHobby G 2023 Autumn, Good Smile Company announced a NieR Automata 2B scale figure and 2B and 9S Huggy Good Smile Figures. All are based on the characters’ anime appearances.
None of these figures are far along in development yet. As such, only concept art appeared for each one. Rather than depicting a pose, the figure for 2B showed the official character design for her from the anime adaptation of NieR Automata.
However, there are custom designs for the 2B and 9S Huggy Good Smile figures. These are chibi characters of the characters in sitting positions. The gimmick behind the line is that the arms are moveable, so you can move them up and down like they are asking for a hug. There is also a magnet in the back of their head for posing.

Even with the game’s age, the anime has meant lots of merchandise appeared over the last year. For example, there’s a 2B 2.0 model that will show up in Japan in 2024 and North America in 2025. People can also buy a lamp that is shaped like a Pod from the series.
The new NieR Automata figures based on the anime series are in development. NieR: Automata is on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC, and its anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll.
