Microsoft is ramping up for its launch in Japan and announced a NicoNico app will be available for the console this winter. PlayStation 4 and Wii U owners also have NicoNico apps to watch content from Japan’s main YouTube competitor.

Xbox One will launch in Japan on September 4. A Day One edition with Kinect will retail for 49,980 yen.
Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Kinect Sports Rivals, Zoo Tycoon, and Dead Rising 3 will be available at launch. Each game will cost 6,900 yen except for Zoo Tycoon which is 5,900 yen. Pre-orders for Xbox One will start on June 21 in Japan.
