It seems the ESRB might have leaked a new Bandai Namco port. The ratings board issued a “Teen” rating for a Nintendo Switch version of Ni no Kuni II. It referred to the game as Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Prince’s Edition, suggesting this will be a port of the complete version of the game. [Thanks, Wario64!]
The description for the Ni no Kuni II Switch version don’t offer any hints about it. However, the game follows Roland, a human president who finds himself in another world after an accident in his own. He appears in front of young King Evan of Ding Dong Dell as a coup is about to take place. He helps the boy to safety, and the two go around the world dealing with otherworldly forces threatening the world while building up his own kingdom.
As for The Prince’s Edition, this is already available via places like Steam. You get the base game, the Cat King’s Claw, an equipment pack, and the expansions The Lair of the Lost Lord, and The Tale of a Timeless Tome.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Bandai Namco didn’t officially announce a Ni no Kuni II Switch port yet, but Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is available on the system.
