Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds Teaser Tour Gives Us a Lengthy Look at Gameplay

Level-5 and Netmarble shared a special teaser tour video to give a lengthy look at gameplay for their upcoming mobile MMO, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, at TGS 2020. In the trailer, we get a first look at various gameplay aspects of the game, from the basics to its 3-vs-3 PVP mode.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds TGS 2020 teaser tour gameplay

The video features Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino and Netmarble CEO Yuji Endo who introduce the world of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. The first bit of footage starts at the 3:54 mark with a focus on graphics and music. We get a focus on the game’s new and original story at 4:59 followed by a look at the Kingdoms, Familiars, and Social Contents.

After showing off goods from TGS 2020, we get another look at the animated teaser trailer that shows both real and virtual worlds. We also get to see the main characters, who are featured at the 19:15 mark of the video, starting with Chloe who will support you at the start of the game.

Next, head to the 26:16 mark to get a first look at live gameplay footage of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. It actually starts out with an intense setting that throws you right into the combat. The game explains skills and such as you progress through the intro. We get to see a little bit of kingdom-exploration at the 33:32 mark. We get to see that Familiars follow the characters here. Familiars support players in different ways, and each one has its own unique trait. Players will get to pick one that suits their style, with many different kinds to choose from. Lastly, the video shows the 3-vs-3 PVP mode, Team Arena.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will release for iOS and Android devices in 2020.
