Under the title of “Legendary Games Chronicle: Final Fantasy,” the first episode of the new NHK show will feature creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, Koichi Ishii, character designer Yoshitaka Amano, composer Nobuo Uematsu, and pixel artist Kazuko Shibuya. The cast will talk about how the first Final Fantasy game came to be, and their struggles developing it at the time and their secret to success.
The first episode of the new Legendary Games Chronicle documentary will be available in English, as NHK recently opened an official website for the new documentary program on the website’s English shows section. Additionally, the Japanese version of the show will appear in December 2024.
